What is L-tryptophan and L-theanine

Studies have investigated the effect of L-tryptophan on cats, especially in multi-pet households, and have found that supplementation with L-tryptophan can reduce behaviors related to stress and anxiety, such as stereotypies, vocalization and agonistic behavior. A double-blind controlled study design with cats receiving L-tryptophan supplementation showed a reduction in these stress-related behaviors, suggesting that L-tryptophan may be an effective tool for treating certain behavioral disorders in cats as part of behavioral therapy​​. As for L-theanine , there are indications that it may help reduce anxiety and stress in cats, although research appears to be more limited compared to L-tryptophan. Products containing L-theanine, such as Anxitane, have been shown to reduce unwanted behaviors such as inappropriate elimination in cats in an open-label, multicenter study.

Jättebra effekt men lång leveranstid

Alla mina tre katter ratar Aptus Relax, vill inte äta dem. Men detta godis slukar alla tre med god aptit! Effekter verkar vara den samma som med Aptus. Dock så har leveranstiden varit 5 dagar vid första beställning samt väntar fortfarande på andra beställningen sedan 7 dagar, vilket är lång tid då man har en resa eller veterinärbesök att tajma med godiset. Jag fick beställa annat godis från ett annat märke med ca 2 dgr leveranstid istället i väntan på detta tyvärr. Kommer ha användning för det ändå, men vore tacksamt med ett snabbare leveransalternativ.. 5/5 till godiset!
